A Dutch Carved Boxwood Sphere with the 7 Provinces carved on one side and the National Arms of Holland on the other Date early 18th to early 19th century.[Although I have tried to do extensive research into this piece I have come up with a blank as to what it was used for or even if it had anything to do with silver, which seemed a possibility ].The coat of arms of the Dutch
